Promoting Social Responsibility

One of our strategic objectives is to promote social responsibility in the private sector. Because of this, we go beyond merely financial contributions. We also seek ways to help improve the health of our communities by getting others motivated to help.

Mindful Community Service

MCS, through its community service program, encourages each of its employees to give up to two (2) days of volunteer time, paid by the company. This program has resulted in thousands of hours of service to the community and has included everything from warehouse and administrative support to cleanup, painting and landscaping, to website design, and financial projects and much more. We appreciate the employees of MCS and the eagerness with which they selflessly provide their time. With their assistance we extend the impact we have well beyond the financial resources we provide.

Other

We want to encourage others in the private sector to support the not-for-profit sector, encouraging self-reliance and reducing the need for government funding where possible. We work to promote the activities of those we support through the media, carrying their messages and encouraging involvement.
